Hi, my name is Julie and I am originally from Cornwall,  but now living in the Scottish Borders on a beautiful Country Estate. I'm a Gamekeepers daughter and now a Gamekeepers wife hence my love for the Country lifestyle and Country Sports. Always the enthusiastic cook learning from my Grandmother and Mother.  Living on three continents has only encouraged new ideas to blossom. This spark was ignited to a flame of passion when my husband presented me with a wonderful Tuscan Cookbook when we moved to Italy ( Local Country recipes, inspirational in its simplicity......and learn the language...Win, Win). Since moving to Scotland I have cooked professionally, now settled and working on a stunning Country Estate where my husband 'Stephen ' is the Gamekeeper,  I create various dishes often using Game. Inspired by my life abroad and travels I want to share my food, thoughts and love for country life with you.  Encouraging the use of Game in a dynamic and exciting way.
